After using the laser cutting machine for a period of time, there will be certain errors in cutting precision, which are often caused by changes in focal length. Therefore, how to debug precision is essential knowledge for operating laser cutting machines:
1. When the focal point laser spot is adjusted to its minimum, perform spot shooting to establish the initial effect. Judge the focal position through the size of the spot effect. As long as we recognize that when the laser spot reaches its minimum, this position is the optimal processing focal length, and then we can start processing work.
2. In the early part of laser cutting machine debugging, we can use some debugging paper and workpiece waste to perform spot shooting to determine the accuracy of the focal position. By moving the height position of the laser head up and down, the laser spot size will change differently during spot shooting. Make multiple adjustments at different positions to find the smallest spot position to determine the optimal position of the focal length and laser head.
3. After the laser cutting machine is installed, a scribing device will be installed on the nozzle of the CNC cutting machine. Through the scribing device, draw a simulated cutting pattern, which is a 1m square. Built-in a circle with a diameter of 1m, draw diagonal lines at the four corners respectively. After drawing, use measuring tools to measure whether the drawn circle is tangent to the four sides of the square. Whether the diagonal length of the square is √2 (the data obtained by square root is approximately: 1.41m), the central axis of the circle should bisect the sides of the square, and the distance from the intersection points of the central axis and the two sides of the square to the intersection points of the two sides of the square should be 0.5m. Test the distance between the diagonal and the intersection points to determine the cutting precision of the equipment.
