The air compressor is a component of the laser cutting machine system. Let's first talk about its concept. An air compressor (English: air compressor) is the main body of the air source device. It is a device that converts the mechanical energy of the prime mover (usually an electric motor) into gas pressure energy, and is a pneumatic generating device for compressed air. Below are the maintenance and care work for its main components.
1. Air filter element. Generally, dust and impurities on the surface of the air filter element should be removed every 500 hours, and it should be checked every 2000 hours to see if replacement is needed. The inspection or replacement cycle can be extended or shortened according to the dust content.
2. Intake valve seals. The seal ring condition should be checked every 4000 hours of operation of the air compressor in the laser cutting machine, and replaced when necessary.
3. Compressor lubricating oil. Check whether the lubricating oil is sufficient every 1000 hours, and replace with new oil every 4000 hours.
4. Oil filter. Replace with new parts every 2000 hours.
5. Oil-air separator. Replace with new parts every 4000 hours.
6. Minimum pressure valve. Clean once every 4000 hours and check if the opening pressure is normal.
7. Safety valve. Check its responsiveness every 4000 hours.
8. Drain valve. Drain water and dirt every 2000 hours.
9. Drive belt. Adjust the tightness every 2000 hours, check wear condition every 4000 hours, and decide whether replacement is needed based on wear condition.
10. Motor maintenance. Maintain according to the motor instruction manual.
To ensure that the air compressor of the laser cutting machine can operate normally and reliably and guarantee the service life of the unit, a detailed maintenance plan must be established, implementing designated operation, regular maintenance, and regular inspection and care to keep the air compressor unit clean, oil-free, and dirt-free.
